Located in middle part of the Zhouliang New City, the knowledge forest island is in Baodi district of Tianjin, it faces to the Chaobei new river eastwards and close to YinqingRuchao Canal southwards. With abundant water resources and satisfactory ecological conditions, the total planned area is 499.93 hectares. The planning consists of three parts: the central knowledge island, the international thermal spring island and the English world. The first part can completely realize the organic combination and high frequency interaction of knowledge, commercial affairs, ecology and humanity, can firstly reflect completely the full features of the knowledge economy, with new concept of knowledge, international, ecological, artistic quality; the second part is the international thermal spring island with thermal spring culture, it will take full advantage of the regional conditions and the water environment of the thermal spring island to divide naturally the land according to the planning roads; the third part is from the British garden city theory, in order to create both a British traditional town atmosphere and to adapt the functional situation of modern city.
